When you visit the websites of POWERSERV Austria GmbH, (referred to POWERSERV in the following) you entrust us with your data. Protection of your privacy when processing your personal information as well as the safety of your data is important to us, and we take it into account when performing our business processes. We handle personal information collected during your visit to our website confidentially and only use it in line with the relevant data protection regulations. Data protection and data security are part of our company policy.
You can use our services in many ways. These range from mere information about current topics to applying for specific and unspecific job and career offers. If you report information to us, for example giving feedback or searching for certain terms, we can use it to continue to improve our services, for example by displaying more relevant search results and advertisements. We would like you, the user of our services, to understand how we use your information and which options you have to protect your data. 1. DATA PROTECTION NOTICE
Our Data Protection Notice explains:

We have made an effort to make the presentation as simple as possible. I. Saving and processing your information from the application process*
All documents and data you give in the application process are saved on the internal POWERSERV databases. Other companies which provide software infrastructure to POWERSERV may be involved in the digital collection of your data (information on the conclusion of order data processing contracts can be found in section 2.4.8). * Minimum requirement for fulfilling the offered service
II. Creation and processing of a personal information sheet
All information you give is used to make an information sheet (profile) about you which is presented to existing and possible clients (companies) of POWERSERV when POWERSERV thinks that the company could offer you appropriate work. It contains the following information: Name, photograph, your previous employers, qualifications, professional experience and activities, reason for changing jobs, desired salary and activities, personal impression during the application process, etc.
III. Long term use of data (optional)
By agreeing to this declaration of agreement, your data is permanently saved (for a maximum of 36 months or no later than you request it to be deleted) at POWERSERV and processed to offer you suitable jobs in the long-term.
IV. Receiving the newsletter of service offers from POWERSERV (optional)
You would like to receive the POWERSERV newsletter at the e-mail address you specify. Registration can be revoked using a respective link in the newsletter at any time.
V. Greetings and information on festivals and holidays (optional)
You would like to receive greetings on Christmas, Easter, your birthday or other holidays.
B. Recipient of your information
In order to execute the services requested, your data is forwarded to the following recipients:
The data you submitted to POWERSERV as well as your personal information sheet (profile) is forwarded to companies which may have suitable job offers for you.
If an employment relationship forms due to POWERSERV services, your data is passed on to payroll accounting and/or bookkeeping, which could also be done by an external company (information on concluding order data processing contracts can be found in section 2.4.8).
C. Time periods and deadlines
With your agreement, until the time you wish it to be deleted or for a maximum of 36 months, your information is stored at POWERSERV and processed and passed on as described above (see Purpose - Permanent use of data). If you have not agreed to permanent use (see Purpose - Permanent use of data), your data is deleted 6 months after the first collection.
D. Consequences of non-agreement (for fulfilling obligatory purposes)
If you do not agree to the handling of your data in the form described above, successful job placement is difficult or impossible as your data is required for the submission of suitable job offers.
The information provided is automatically pre-filtered and segmented when fulfilling various services.
1.3 Linking to third-party websites
Our website contains hyperlinks to third-party websites (“external links”) in some cases. Other data protection and cookie guidelines may apply for such websites. That is why comprehensive information on the data protection and cookie guidelines of other websites is absolutely necessary. They affect the use of personal information which you provide or which is collected using cookies when you visit this website. The websites are subject to the liability of the respective operator. We assume no liability or responsibility for data protection on the websites of third parties. Setting external links does not mean that POWERSERV takes ownership of the content behind the link or reference. Constant monitoring of the external links is not within reason for POWERSERV without concrete notification of a legal violation. You therefore use such websites at your own risk.
2.1 What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files which are stored on your end device when you visit a website. The text files save information which can be read by the website if you visit it again at a later time. Some cookies are required so the site can function perfectly. There are three categories of cookies:

2.4. Services used by POWERSERV
2.4.1. Google Analytics
By activating the IP anonymisation on this website, your IP address is shortened in advance by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other treaty states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is your full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the US and then shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of this website to compile reports about web activities and provide services connected with the website use and internet use for the website operator. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics will not be associated with other data held by Google.
This website uses the Analytics functions for re-marketing, reports on impressions in the Google display network, integration of the DoubleClick campaign manager, and Google Analytics reports for performance according to demographic features and interests. You can deactivate Google Analytics for ads and adjust display in the Google display network by calling up the display settings at this link:
2.4.2. DoubleClick (if applicable)
The cookies of DoubleClick are used to measure how effective ad campaigns are, to limit how often certain ads are displayed and to show advertisement relevant for you and your interests.
In doing so, information on your previous behaviour on websites of third parties, times of your visits and the advertisements clicked on is recorded and saved. This information is not passed on to third parties and is used to control and manage our campaigns. In addition, profiles of users are created for market research purposes which are based on the determined interests.

2.4.3. Google AdWords (if applicable)
In this way, we can continuously optimize the performance of our AdWords displays and address users who have already dealt with our offers and services at www.powerserv.at with user-related advertisement.
Users can be in our user pools for up to 365 days. An incognito browser can be used or the browser history deleted to prevent placement in a Google Adwords user pool. The users in the Google Adwords user pools remain anonymous and no conclusions can be made about personal information.
2.4.4. Use of web fonts (if applicable)
External fonts are incorporated on our websites by GOOGLE Fonts. GOOGLE Fonts is a service of Google Inc. (“GOOGLE”). Incorporation of these web fonts is done by calling up a service, normally a GOOGLE server.
Data is transmitted to the server on which pages you visit at www.powerserv.at. In addition, the IP address of your browser is transmitted to the respective end device. You can find more information at:
This website uses the “User action pixel” of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA (“Facebook”). With its help, we can track the action of users after they have clicked on or liked a Facebook advertisement. This allows us to measure the effectiveness of Facebook advertisements for statistical and marketing purposes.The effectiveness of marketing campaigns can be determined and, if applicable, optimisation measures can be developed based on this data. No extended comparison of customer data (comparison of Facebook data with POWERSERV customer or user data downloaded via export lists) is done in the framework of the “Custom Audience” target group function of Facebook. The data collected in this way is anonymous for us, meaning we do not see the personal information of individual users. Tracking of users which arrive on our website after clicking on a Facebook ad can take up to 365 days.
However, this data is saved and processed by Facebook, of which we inform you in line with our state of knowledge. 2.4.7. INSTAPP Widget
POWERSERV uses the INSTAPP widget from Appvelox GmbH., Vienna, Austria, on its website. With the help of this widget, users can transmit their application information using alternative data sources (XING login, LinkedIn login, INSTAPP entry mask, etc.). Alternatively, the native application entry mask can be used in the detailed view of the advertisement on POWERSERV websites at any time.
2.4.8. Statistical evaluation (tracking)

2.4.9. Order data processing
POWERSERV has concluded contracts for order data processing with all partners and services used.
2.4.10. IP anonymisation
We use the “activation of IP anonymisation” function on this website. This is used to shorten your IP address in advance by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other treaty states of the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is your full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the US and then shortened there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate the use of this website to compile reports about web activities and provide services for the website operator connected with the website use and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser to Google Analytics will not be associated with other data held by Google.
2.4.11. Tracking for personalisation (re-marketing/re-targeting)
A cookie is used to display personalised page suggestions. No IP numbers are saved while doing so. When the website is visited, the following data is collected by a pixel which is incorporated in every website:

- Categories of the accessed page
This data is not forwarded.
2.4.12. Social Media Cookies
By default, POWERSERV does not set social media cookies and does not transmit any data to social networks. Not until an active process is performed in a social media service (“sharing", “tweeting”, etc.) does the site record any data. Neither POWERSERV is authorised to access the information saved via cookies on the social networks nor are the social websites allowed to access the cookies set by POWERSERV and the information which is saved in this way.

3. REMARKETING /RETARGETING
On some pages of the POWERSERV website, third parties who provide applications on the POWERSERV website can set their own cookies. The success of linked applications can be tracked and evaluated by setting such cookies. Such activities can be individually set to you in this way. Social networks save activities, such as the sharing of content of POWERSERV websites, on the respective social network by means of the share button. Neither POWERSERV is authorised to access the information saved via cookies on the social networks nor can the social websites access the cookies set by POWERSERV and the information which is saved in this way. In the same manner, some POWERSERV content also can contain embedded content; in this case these websites set their own cookies. If possible, content is embedded in a way which excludes cookies (e.g. advanced data protection mode when embedding Youtube videos).
3.1. Facebook Remarketing/Retargeting
Re-marketing tags of Facebook, 1601 South California Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA are integrated on our pages. These re-marketing tags create a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server when you visit the website. Facebook receives the information that you visited our page with your IP address, whereby your visit to the website is assigned to your Facebook user account. We can use this information received in this way to create and display Facebook ads. As a provider, we have no knowledge of which information is sent to Facebook and its use by Facebook.

4. USE OF THE DATA WE COLLECT
We use the data we collect in the framework of our services to provide, to maintain, to protect and to improve our services, to develop new services and to protect POWERSERV and our users. We also use this data to offer you customised content - for example, to provide you with more relevant search results and advertisements. Your data is also used for market research.
POWERSERV also uses the Analytics function UserID to be able to track interaction data. This UserID is also anonymised and encrypted and is not associated with other data in this context.

4.1.1. Saving your data from the application process
All documents and data you give in the application process are saved on the internal POWERSERV databases. Other companies which provide software infrastructure to POWERSERV might be involved in the digital collection of your information.

Registration for the newsletter is done when consent is granted on our POWERSERV application form (in our branches) or by setting the respective check mark when filling out a form on a POWERSERV website and submitting a name and e-mail address. This data is saved and processed in order to send newsletters. This data may be processed further under some conditions in the context of your applicant profile. Consent for the newsletter can be revoked at any time by sending an e-mail (E-Mail: email@example.com) or by using the unsubscribe link.
6. TRANSPARENCY AND SELECTION OPTION
In order to best address your concerns related to data protection, we aim to provide clarification on which data we collect. POWERSERV enables its users to determine the provided contents and data with the use of various features, e.g.:
- On its websites, POWERSERV offers the option to consent to the use of certain cookies using a corresponding widget. You can also set your browser so that all cookies including the cookies linked to our services are blocked and that a message is displayed as soon as we set cookies. However, please consider that many of our services may not work properly if you have deactivated cookies.
7. ACCESS TO AND UPDATING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION
Whenever you use our services, we strive to give you access to your personal information. If this data is incorrect, we will strive to provide you with options to quickly update or remove it - unless we are required to retain this data for justified business or legal purposes. In the event that we update your personal information, we may request proof of your identity before we process the request.
Provided we can grant access and correction of data, this is done free of charge, except in cases in which this would create disproportionate effort. We strive to provide our services in a way to protect the information from accidental and wilful destruction. For this reason, we may not delete remaining duplication pieces of data which you have deleted from our services immediately from our active servers and not remove this data from our safety systems.
8. INFORMATION WE PASS ON
We give personal information to companies, organisations or persons outside of POWERSERV if we have received your consent to do so. We need your explicit consent to pass on any certain category of personal information according to section 9 of the GDPR (so-called “sensitive data”).
8.1. Processing by other agencies
We provide personal information to our partners, other trustworthy companies or persons who process this on our behalf. This is done based on our instructions and in line with our Data Protection Notice as well as other appropriate confidentiality and safety measures.
8.2. For legal reasons
We will pass personal information on to companies, organisations or persons outside of POWERSERV when we believe in good faith that access to this information or its use, retention or handing over is reasonably necessary
- To comply with applicable legislation, regulations or legal procedures or to fulfil an enforceable order by the authorities
- To uncover, prevent or otherwise fight safety or technical problems
- To protect the rights, the property or the safety of POWERSERV, our users or the public from damages, to the extent permitted by law or required by law.
Regardless of any internal POWERSERV restructuring, we will continue to ensure the confidentiality of all personal information and we will notify affected users before personal information is handed over or becomes the subject of another or supplemental Data Protection Notice.
9. DATA SECURITY
We make intensive efforts to protect POWERSERV and our users from unauthorised access or unauthorised modification, forwarding or destruction of data. In particular:

11.2. Right to correction
At all times, you have the right to have POWERSERV correct, supplement or modify your personal information.
11.3. Right to data transmission
You have the right to have all information saved about you by POWERSERV transmitted to another company.
11.4. Right to deletion
If requested, POWERSERV will delete all personal information affecting you saved at POWERSERV within the legally specified period of time.
You can revoke your given consent, in whole or in part, for the collection and use of your information as well as registration at any time for the future. Up to the time of revocation, your data is processed legally. In this case, we will immediately delete the information you request, or have it blocked for future use.
